Hi, I’m Jeff — a lifelong follower of Jesus, Bible teacher, and faith-based grief and end-of-life coach with a heart for walking with people through life’s most sacred and sorrowful seasons.
My journey with Christ began when I was saved and baptized at age 10. Not long after, I began sensing a call to teach, shepherd, and encourage others — especially those navigating pain, loss, or transition. That calling has shaped my life ever since.
I hold a Master of Arts in Advanced Nursing & Mental Health Studies, a Master of Ministry focused in Biblical Counseling, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Ministry in Leadership.
For over 30 years, I’ve served in vocational ministry as a pastor, teacher, and mentor. I’ve also spent more than 15 years in clinical practice as a behavioral health nurse, hospice nurse, and mental health educator. Currently, I serve as the System Educator for Behavioral Health for a major hospital network across Kentucky and Indiana — supporting both adult and pediatric behavioral health teams.
This unique combination of biblical truth, clinical training, and real-world experience now fuels my passion for helping Christian individuals and families navigate grief, dying, and life’s most difficult transitions.
Through Mind & Soul Care, I offer Christ-centered grief coaching, end-of-life support, and emotional-spiritual guidance for those facing death, loss, or caregiving stress. My work includes:
Whether I’m coaching a caregiver, mentoring a pastor, or comforting someone in grief — I bring presence, prayer, and gospel-centered clarity.
I also serve as a guest preacher and Bible teacher as I’m able, continuing to share God’s Word in local churches, small groups, and special gatherings.
Though I spent many years in formal church leadership, today my wife Michele and I enjoy being part of a small, simple house church community where I continue to teach and disciple in an intimate, Spirit-led setting.
Outside of ministry, Michele and I love camping, home projects, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with our five (mostly grown) kids and our sweet granddaughter, Sarah Mae. Life has had its share of valleys — but through it all, Jesus Christ has been faithful.
If you’re looking for a grief coach, end-of-life guide, Bible teacher, or speaker who brings together biblical insight, clinical expertise, and real-world compassion, I’d be honored to walk with you or your organization in this sacred work.
